The boys...
Road trip (x2)...
We drove out to California to join Justin for the rest of his internship. Then, sadly, Justin's Grandpa passed away a few days after we got there. We were able to go home for the funeral. It was a pretty emotional whirlwind of a week (especially for Justin), but we're thankful for all that we've felt and believe.
So, after the funeral and a quick trip to Washington we were on the road again! The boys did really good. They sure like having their Daddy around. (So do I!)
They like to hold hands while we drive. Too cute.
A quick trip...
Justin and I went to Washington State (Tri-Cities area) because Justin had a job interview. We had a really nice three day adventure. It was super relaxing (for me) and wonderful to spend a little time with just Justin. We didn't take very many pictures of ourselves, but Justin did take these at the airport waiting to fly to Seattle (then back to SLC)...
We sat right next to the propellers so it was loud, but not bad.
"We are a family!"
Here are the boys when we went out for a walk soon after we joined Justin in California. I hadn't seen them look this happy in weeks. Whenever we all get in the car together, or hold hands, or give hugs Asher says something like "Yeah, because we are a family!" We are so happy to be together as a family again!
Fun at Folsom Lake...

Hannah's a Mommy!!
I loved spending time the last few weeks with my family. It was especially exciting to watch as Hannah, my little sister, got ready for her first child to be born. Here are some quick pictures I took just a few days before my newest little niece, Grace Morgan joined the world!

Hannah is a simply lovely mommy. I love her and Grace more than words can say.

A special day with Asher...
Well, we wanted to spend a special day with Asher before Justin went to California. I knew it was going to be hard on him to have his dad away for a few weeks (and it has been very hard on him!) so we thought a morning at the dinosaur museum would be just right. Asher is a big fan of dinosaurs and it always cracks me up how much he knows about them. Asher was a champ! Some parts of the museum can be intimidating for a 2 year old but he really did super well. The only thing he really didn't like was the room with the giant shark head in it. We ran with our eyes closed through that room.
Justin and Asher under a really big dinosaur.
My little Paleontologist.
We had fun "digging with brooms!"
I played him in a game of Air Hockey and he's a natural. It was really fun.
This was right after he beat me and yelled "SCORE!" Asher you are too fun to be with! Thanks for a great morning.
A few silly pictures...
